PowerSync is a wireless remote control system that lets you engage your tractor's PTO and adjust engine throttle from a distance using a handheld remote. It installs inline with your existing throttle and PTO switch connectors.
PowerSync fits more than 200 John Deere models. Fit depends on the throttle sensor and PTO switch your tractor was built with. See every model by series or use the finder. Other brands are not supported yet.
Pricing depends on the harnesses your tractor needs. Contact us or call (701) 997-6515 for pricing and availability.
No. PowerSync uses inline harness connectors that plug into your existing throttle and PTO connectors. No wire splicing or permanent modification is needed.
Basic hand tools: flat and Phillips screwdrivers, a socket with an extension, a ratchet, and zip ties. A drill and hole saw are optional for cab-mounted installations. Watch the install video.
No. PowerSync is an aftermarket accessory and is not authorized by the tractor manufacturer. Installing it may affect your tractor manufacturer's warranty.
Approximately 300 feet in open conditions. Buildings, machinery, grain structures, and terrain reduce usable range, and weak batteries reduce it further. Establish the actual working range on your own equipment.
If the controller does not hear from the remote for 10 seconds, it shuts off the PTO. When you come back into range, the PTO does not restart on its own. You have to press the buttons again.
This is an intentional safety interlock. Requiring both buttons prevents the PTO from being activated by a single accidental button press.
Yes. The hand throttle stays fully functional and takes priority. The remote throttle buttons work alongside it for fine RPM adjustments.
No. The remote and controller connect automatically when both are powered on.
Three AAA alkaline batteries, not included.
No. Only one PowerSync system may be powered on within radio range. A remote transmits to every PowerSync controller in range, so pressing PTO on one remote can engage the PTO on both machines.
No. Before servicing, adjusting, or unplugging an implement, shut off the tractor engine, remove the key, and disconnect the PowerSync controller. A remote that is off, out of range, or out of batteries is not a safe state.
Production PowerSync systems are covered by a one-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of original purchase through an authorized dealer.
